The Kootenai River Brewing Company was established in 2010 and serves a rotating selection of house-crafted beers from a tap room overlooking the iconic Kootenai River and the scenic Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges of North Idaho.

The brewery is a family-style restaurant offering lunch and dinner daily, with breakfast available on select days. Guests can enjoy a variety of handcrafted brews—ranging from light and refreshing to bold and full-bodied—with selections that change throughout the year. All of our beer is brewed with high-quality hops sourced both locally and globally, fresh mountain water, and locally grown malted barley when available.

Our kitchen features a full menu of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and classic comfort dishes. Seasonal entrées, rotating specials, and guest-favorite soups round out the dining experience throughout the week. The brewery also hosts live music on Friday nights, summertime beer-garden gatherings, and a variety of community and family events throughout the year.
