The Kootenai River Brewing Company is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
ALL positions require potential candidates to be available for any shifts including holidays and weekends. Serving applicants must be at least 19 years of age to serve alcohol.
Line Cook
Participates in all areas of food production, helps control food costs, adheres to standards of food quality, maintains cleanliness of kitchen and equipment, dependable (shows up for work when scheduled) detail oriented, must be able to follow basic recipes and methods, know how to work with sense of urgency- can keep up with orders during busy times. Must be 18 years of age due to labor laws. Must have Idaho Food Handlers Card, or obtain one upon hire. Must maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Server
Takes customer orders, serves food and beverages, prepares itemized checks using computerized system, processes payments. Waitstaff will perform additional duties, which may include escorting guests to tables, serving customers seated at counters, setting up and clearing tables, and pouring micro brews. They also check the identification of patrons to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol. Servers prep salads, sauces and other items before and during shift. Must be professional, polite, clean and reliable. Must be able to learn and describe food and drinks proficiently. Must have Idaho Food Handlers Card, or obtain one upon hire.
Dishwasher
Keeps the kitchen staff supplied with clean dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The Dishwasher may also have the job of keeping the kitchen clean during a shift, takes out trash, cleans floors, etc. Other duties as assigned which often include food prep work.
